3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation: You must create an account to use certain features of our Service. You may sign up using Google OAuth or other supported authentication methods.

3.2 Account Information: We collect and store your name, email address, and profile information from your authentication provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.3 Account Security: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan: Our free plan includes 30 requests per day with access to basic AI models. This plan is ideal for users who want to explore Cognito Chat's capabilities.

4.2 Paid Plans: Pro and Enterprise plans offer unlimited requests, access to advanced AI models, priority support, and premium features. Pricing is subject to change with advance notice to existing subscribers.

4.3 Payment: Payments are processed securely through Paddle, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected). You can manage your subscription and payment details through your account settings.

4.4 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

4.5 Refunds: Payments are processed by Paddle, the Merchant of Record for all purchases made through Cognito AI. All refund requests are handled in accordance with Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and consumer refund policy. 5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Use the Service for unauthorized commercial purposes without permission

6. Intellectual Property

We also use Paddle as our payment processor for subscription billing. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Availability: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9.2 AI-Generated Content: AI models may produce inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

9.3 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognito AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account and cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@cognetic.app. Upon termination, your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
